Heartsease Tea

Heartsease (Viola tricolor), also known as pansy or Johnny Jump Up, is originally from Europe, West Asia and North Africa, and is 10-14 cm tall with ovate leaves, flowers with five petals unequal and different colors – purple top two, two side yellow and the lower, yellow. Heart-sense contains saponosides, flavonoids, salicylic acid compounds, carotenoids, anthocyanins, tannins, volatile oil, vitamins C and A.

Heartsease is one of the strongest detoxifiers of the medicinal flora. As such, it is not surprising that its therapeutic uses are extremely diverse.

It’s the best elixir in all kinds of skin diseases. I used it for acne with good results.

Heartsease tea is an herbal tea and has a positive effect on the kidneys by increasing the amount of urine, and eliminating more toxins. Also, promotes bile secretion and sputum. Has a role in encourage the elimination of toxic tumors of the body as sweat and role in stopping allergies and epilepsy. Heartsease is recommended by the herbalists to treat cough, constipation, bronchitis, renal disorders, boils, eczema, herpes, urticaria, pimples, acne, or dermatoses.

Heartsease tea recipe:

Boil 500 ml of water and then put two teaspoons of heartsease herb. Let it infuse for 10 minutes and then filter the content. Optionally, you can add a slice of lemon and after it has cooled, you can sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
